We recognise that entering a nursing home can be a stressful time for both applicant and relatives. We will do everything we can to make the process as simple and worry free as possible. Our admissions procedure is straightforward. Application forms are available for downloading from this website or directly from the Hospital and can be sent back to us by email, fax or post.

The application form comes in two parts the first is a medical form that can be filled up by the applicants GP or Hospital Doctor. The second part is social form and can be filled up by the applicant, family member or friend.

Once received our Matron and GP will review the forms. This is done to decide if we would be in a position to provide the appropriate level of medical care the applicant requires. Once this has been decided the applicant will be invited to attend the Hospital to allow our Matron and GP assess the applicant in person.
